Philippe Béha - Illustrator

Place of birth: Casablanca, Morocco
Residence: Montréal, Quebec

Philippe Béha was born in Casablanca, Morocco. He travelled a great deal before coming to Quebec during the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montréal. With a degree in fine arts from Strasbourg, France (1974), he started out as a freelance designer for Société Radio-Canada, where he gave up a permanent position to devote his time entirely to illustration. He illustrates articles, posters, advertisements and children’s books, many of which have received awards. Well-known and in high demand, Philippe Béha is a very talented illustrator with a boundless imagination. For him, every project is a new challenge.

He lives in Montréal with his wife, two daughters, two cats and a dog.
